Untitled(Bush Creek Residency project in Wyoming)
This piece was an installation I did while I was at the Bush Creek Residency in Wyoming in 2015. This piece was based on the art historian Carrie Lambert-Beatty's art genre definition of "parafiction," which is a blurring of lines between fact and fiction. I placed blue yarn in various lengths, which could be perceived as a type of moss or growth that melds into the colorful landscape.
